The space
"Robert Bedford" the Bedford Bus converted by its previous owner’s with consideration and passion, is a simple but comfortable space with a unique relaxed vibe. Wake up to an incredible view of the famous Kangaroo Valley escarpments and what we call The Lake, have your morning coffee in the paddock and enjoy an evening wine sitting under festive lights.
The bus has everything you need: a fridge and single-burner cooktop for cooking, plus toaster and kettle. There's a hot shower and a chemical toilet like those you would find in an RV. (We run on beautiful fresh rain water so please be conscious of water usage.) The bus has air-conditioning and heating, or you can open the windows to catch the delightful through-breezes.
Please note the bus is not suitable for infants and children. It is in close proximity to a large body of water.
Outside, a fire pit, some lounge chairs and a small BBQ provides that country ambience. If the weather turns bad, you can bunker down indoors in the cosy bus and enjoy the sound of rain falling on the roof.
We provide 100% organic cotton sheets and towels. Soap, shampoo, tea and coffee. There is a comfortable, plush queen bed in the bedroom and a fold out sofa bed in the living area. The bus is best suited for adults due to its location but feel free to discuss further if you would like to have the little ones in tow.
Our beautiful bus is very comfortable. Like all vintage spaces, it has its quirks; please be aware of these. We describe a stay here as ‘bus-king’: not quite camping, not quite cottage.
Please note there is no wifi but very good mobile and 4G reception.
Please feel free to send an enquiry about 1 night stays.

The bus has a paddock all of its own on our working farm! It is located along side our lovely large dam, our 'lake'. There is a large beautiful dam not far from your door step where you can enjoy the ducks, lake vista and occasional our resident pelican comes to chill for a little while. Please enjoy the tranquility from afar but be mindful the dam is deep so we ask you to keep your distance. There is strictly no swimming please. The areas around the bus paddock are not included in this listing.
Other things to note
The bus is located in a paddock all of its own on a working family farm. You may see our family out and about on the farm from time to time - moving cows and sheep or doing some weeding!
